Critter ID

Saw this guy for the first time today.  Not sure if it's a Chiton, Sphaeromatidae or something else?  If it wasn't in my tank, I'd just call it a roly-poly!

Any chance you got a top down photo? Back end photo?

 

Definitely not a chiton (those are closer to snails/mollusks.) Sphaero maybe, but there are predatory isopods that look similar.

I'll see if I can get one.  It hasn't moved much. 

 

It was odd even seeing it as I used Life Rock, and have dipped all my corals.  I did get a bottle of 5280 pods from Algae Barn about 4-5 weeks ago.

An isopod.  Looks kind of like Ligia.  Does not look like a predatory species, but hard to say from the photo.
