Guest drgnchk June 25, 2004 June 25, 2004 Has anyone successfully housed a ribbon eel, i was thinking about getting one for one of my tanks, but don't know if their reef compatible or what? please advise, Rebecca

The exception is a "white ribbon eel" which can be long lived when a proper diet can be established. Still not a good candidate for a reef tank although it's main diet will be strictly fish it can get in it's mouth.
