Toadstool leather has a hole in it

I have a 29gal biocube mix reef set up. This coral was actually the first piece I started with about 5 years ago. Iv noticed over the past month it has developed a hole. Biggest changes in the tank are iv added a few SPS, started feeding Reef Roids, and got a MP10. From the info Iv gathered most people said that this is a sign of propagation some are adding that they only do that when stressed. In all honesty it might be getting just to big for my set up, it’s about 11” when fully open.

i think something nicked it and it just kinda melted a hole looks healed now so it shouldn't get bigger

I did see one of my hermit crabs in it shortly before I notice the hole. Maybe he was the culprit! I’ll still keep and eye on it.
