Thinking on throwing the towel, this time is green cyano

Update:

After one dose of chemiclean, I was able to get rid of this green cyano type algae. This is a bit strange because I tried the red slime remover product a few weeks ago and that didnt work... A few days later after I did a water change I got another algae outbreak of brown type like diatoms or dyno's.... My guess is that all types of algae are competing for space on my system! It was either GHA, Cyano or Brown diatoms or dynos...

I got tired of this and got rid of most of the live rock. The algae seemed to be slowing down now, I only left one rock with the BTA. Now thinking on the changes I did before all this started, I do remember introducing two pieces of dry rock that I got from my brother in law he bought from an LFS in Puerto Rico so maybe those pieces where contaminated and full of phosphates? Who knows..... I am cycling new dry rock outside my system and will add it slowly.... So far i have lost almost all my SPS, only a few frags left and zoas seem to be doing ok.

thanks!
