Guest reeffoto May 11, 2004 May 11, 2004 I am taking some corals out to california friday. I am planning on just taking them on the plane with me. Is it safe to send them through x-ray or will they hand inspect them?
traveller7 May 11, 2004 May 11, 2004 I have brought anemone in small coolers and thermoses, which have gone through the xray. IME, they have not taken the time to hand inspect post 9/11 unless you are flying off hours. Good luck.
michaelg May 12, 2004 May 12, 2004 send them through the x-ray. I have done it even with fish litterally dozens of times. Never a problem. When I tried to hand walk some through, I got a lot of crap about them being animals and that "animals aren't allowed on the plane". That was the first and only time I ever tried that. Hopefully I can catch up with you when you return from california. Have a safe trip. Michael
