newbie2014 March 31, 2016 Share March 31, 2016 the black boxes are set to 65 blue and 50 white. These are frag tanks that are only 12 inches deep. My racks are varying sizes so i can move a coral closer to the light on higher racks. Thanks for the info. My light is only about 12 inches above water, and the bottom my tank is roughly 15 inches below the water line. I took the optic off and set the intensity to 30% blue and 15-20% white. newbie2014 March 31, 2016 Share March 31, 2016 I'm an ocean revive fan but I have grown stuff under a few different fixtures. They all grew stuff even the cheap EBAY one If I have to do it over, I'll go with the programmable black boxes like Ocean Revive and sbreef lights. That way I can ramp up the light gradually.
