thakki February 28, 2016 Share February 28, 2016 Just found out that MyReef 2.0 is only for PC! I understand that it can be programmed on the controller itself...but wanted more user friendly interface to work with. Read on some online forums that someone installed it inside a VirtualBox on MAC. Anyone here? If so, can you provide some feedback?
John-Solo September 2, 2016 Share September 2, 2016 (edited) I just got a RKL from a friend for a 14 gal Biocube in setting up. I was having major problems getting the setting to function with just the controller so I went on to the Digital Aquatics web sight to download the software and they said it is only programed to function on PC. Im not computer savvy (hence why I have a MAC). I was going to contact bulk reef to see if they have any suggestions. Ill let you know what I find out. Unless you've found new information? fishgate September 6, 2016 Share September 6, 2016 It should work within a virtual box. Can't you get someone to loan you a PC laptop to get it going and update all the firmware?
thakki September 6, 2016 Author Share September 6, 2016 I went past all these hurdles...finally I managed to set it up on the controller itself...its tedious...but got the job done. Also, the NET module has an option to access the controller via a web service...again not that useful but does give you an interesting UI.
