Which light to buy

I know everyone see's my name in a post now and is starting to say "oh god not more questions"....LOL. But I learn so much from you guys/gals I can't stop. Plus I want to try to do things right the first time.

 

Ok I have decided I am going with T5HO on my 180g and I am leaning toward ATI brand. My question is this size tank if I want to grow/support the most things (other than softies which I will have, not sure which way I will go in coral down the road) do I need an 8 bulb 60" or a 6 bulb?

 

Second, the tank being 24" deep what is a good height above the surface to start hanging it?

I've got two 8 bulb ati powermodules above my 180 and love them , I keep them like 8 inches above the water , grows everything and the colors seem to be great , also my tank runs around 77 degrees , when I had 400s above it I couldnt keep the tank below 82 only downside is the bulb replacement every year
