SixtyFeetUnder August 10, 2015 Share August 10, 2015 So for many years I've been using the following: Alk: Kent marine super buffer DKh Calcium & Magnesium: Brightwell Aquatics The kent marine buffer works great and I've honestly had good result with every calcium supplement I've used. But of late I've struggled to keep my mag up. I don't know if I need to mix my solution stronger or maybe try a different product cause it seems my small but plentiful sps frags must be eating up the magnesium. I do 10% weekly water changes with IO. So what i would like to know is anyone's preferred supplements in general, for mag, and if possible why. Also, do you does anything besides the big 3? I know the old rule of testing, but just wondering if anyone has any other trace elements they find to be beneficial with small weekly water changes. Thanks for the thoughts. Reefer_Madness August 10, 2015 Share August 10, 2015 (edited) Brightwell Code A and B all the way!! Maybe because they were designed by the same scientist, they are more balanced with mag, alk, calcium? Just guessing....
