Stanley11 March 4, 2015 Share March 4, 2015 Anyone had experience putting multiple pistol shrimp, different varieties in the same tank? Thinking of adding a couple to a 30 gallon tank.
madweazl March 4, 2015 Share March 4, 2015 Havent heard about different species but multiples of the same are just fine. I'm interested to find out as well; love me some gobies and it would be nice to have a few different species of both.
JR-Tanked150 March 5, 2015 Share March 5, 2015 I have 2 pistol shrimps in our 150. A bullseye and a tiger. Also two different gobies a pinkspot and a cave goby. The pinkspot and tiger are a pair. And don't get along with the cave. But the bullseye shrimp, well he lives on top and between 2 rocks and ignore the cave goby.
madweazl March 5, 2015 Share March 5, 2015 Lots of the shrimp gobies get along and will even share burrows (hifin, yasha, tangarosa, randall's, etc), I dont know about the pistols however.
