Hcuervo June 19, 2014 Share June 19, 2014 I just woke up and the power has been out for 4 hours, can't believe I didn't wake up!! My 90 gallon and sump have been sitting still for that time. My battery powered air pump is locked where I can't get to it. What do I do? Hydrogen peroxide? Can anyone help?
trockafella June 19, 2014 Share June 19, 2014 If you have no Means of providing oxygen with a pump or air stone you can scoop water and pour it back in, over and over.
davelin315 June 19, 2014 Share June 19, 2014 Power inverter attached to a battery will also work temporarily if you get tired of scooping water. The scoping, however, since you have a sump, is a great way to add the water back in. Take a bucket and pour the water in from above and that should do the trick. You are so far away that offering up a generator would be counterproductive as it would be at least a 3-4 hour process o grab one from me. See if anyone closer has one that posts up. sen5241b June 19, 2014 Share June 19, 2014 You always want to have a tested power outage plan.
