quiet return pump

[Fishie]

i have a very quiet return pump, the label said max flo 1500 but every time i looked online for it i couldn't find the right one.

ive had a few people ask which pump it was because it is dead quiet.

 

this past weekend i did some more searching for it so i could keep a backup pump at hand

the ATB FLOWSTAR 1500 is built of the same model as these..

 

i have only cleaned mine once in the last 3 years and it is very very quiet

 

i dug in some more and found a more inexpensive version of the same pump

is the same pump inside...when you take out the protective cover in the above pic..all you would need is the base bracket to support it if needed.

 

just wanted to share this info out there incase anyone wanted a good reliable and quiet pump

Great find. Also a good replacement for the Bubble Kings Skimmer. Although I went with a Waveline DC skimmer pump.
