antoine December 25, 2005 December 25, 2005 What are the three hardiest butterfly fish? Can one be added to a tank w/ a sailfin tang? Have antone heard of or used won brother skimmers?
HowardofNOVA December 26, 2005 December 26, 2005 Antoine, Welcome to WAMAS! Where do you live? Take a moment to fill out your profile? Tank size, experience, what's in your tank, goals etc..... Black and White Heniochus Diphesius I believe is the ONLY one you want. Great fish and after a good QT time and he is feeding, then add to your tank after main lighting is off and will allow him time before light up in morning to get use to tank. DO NOT get the B/W Heniochus Acumintas or something like that. Will nip everything! Howard
martin December 27, 2005 December 27, 2005 I have seen the Won Brothers skimmers at the trade show in sept. I don't have any personal experience with them, but they looked like your basic stuff. I have, like most people, boxes of old equipment that looked like a good deal......but now is gathering dust or tossed out. Prisim, aquacaclear, wetdry filter, JBJ power heads (after a near death experience with a faulty one..salt water sure conducts electricity well) Skilter-well that made a microfuge, underpowered lights, fish tanks that are taller than wide i.e hex and "show tanks", and other bits and pieces of junk. I am happy with my Turbofloter 1000 made by aquamedic, Current USA MH light with PC atinics, and a home made phosphate reactor. I just got a ph monitor and a Current USA micro skimmer (just for fun I guess). Lots of live rock and fish from good dealers.
