Closed loop circulation

Been using it for a decade or so - what do you want to know?

Given modern circulation choices I'd recommend against it. I know the "power heads" are ugly line of thinking but they're better than extra holes in your tank.

I bought a used 120 about a year ago. It had a overflow box, one of the BRS 1200gph overflow boxes with a 1-1/2 inch bulkhead, and was drilled with one 1-1/2 inch bulkhead and four 3/4 inch bulkhead in the back glass. Up to now, I have them plugged and have not used them. I have a Tunze 6105 which is great, but was wondering if it was worth adding the closed loop circulation to the back glass to get a better flow.
