Guest oracleoca December 2, 2005 Share December 2, 2005 I purchased a red Lobophylia robusta? (lobed brain coral) last Saturday locally (Dr. Mac) so there was no shipping stress. I have it placed towards the bottom of my tank under a rock ledge and today I noticed that there are tiny white stringy material at some of the larger mouths and the ribs are showing around the edges. I have a green fuzzy one and it is doing fine. I fed the tank cyclopeeze and oyster eggs a couple of days ago. It is approximately 3" in diameter. Here are my tank parameters: 53 gallon bare-bottom display/sump Tek 6-39w T5 hood pH = 8.00 Temp = 77 nitrates < 1mg/l phosphates = 0 Alkalinity = 13 Mg = 1440 Calcium = 425 Can you please help me and my lobo? I did, however, perform a 5 minute dip with Seachem Reef Dip Coral Disinfectant and Flatworm Exit before placing it into my display after I acclimated it for an hour.
