Happy November Fish Friends,

Hope you all had a safe and fun Halloween weekend!

WHAT'S NEW?

Lots of new corals arrived in this week including some really nice Yellow Porites, bright Green Hydnophora, a couple Purple Acroporas, lots of Yellow/Orange Sun Corals, lots of Yuma Ricordea, some Peach centered Zoanthids, Green and Orange Zoanthids, lots of Frogspawn, Hammer and Torch's, a couple Yellow Leathers, lots of nice Spaghetti Leathers and lots more!

Our fish shipment included some larger Green Chromis, a pretty Harlequin Tusk, a very small Naso and Kole Tang, some Green Banded Gobies and a couple Two-Spot Blennies. The Green Banded Gobies and Two-Spot Blennies are great for smaller Nano or Pico tanks because they stay really small and don't require a large amount of space, so if you are looking for a neat fish for your small tank, come in and take a look at these small, cute fish! We also got in our captive bred shipment which includes False and True Percula Clowns, Tomato, Cinnamon, Clarkii and Maroon Clowns, Orchid and Neon/Arabian Dottybacks, and Blue Neon Gobies.

Some neat inverts this week include some more algae-eating Chitons, some small (nano-sized) Money Cowries which also do a great job on algae for their small size. A fresh shipment of Alor Live Rock also arrived this week. This rock is very porous and is encrusted with really nice dark red, purple and peach coralline algae. For those of you starting a new tank, this is the time to stop by and pick up some really nice rock!

DID YOU KNOW?

One of the best ways to maximize the health, color, and lifespan of your fish is to feed it an assortment of foods. We recommend feeding your fish at least five different types of food. The same way no human should eat the same meal every day, fish and invertebrates should not eat just flake food or just brine shrimp. We carry pellets, freeze dried krill, lots of different flake foods, and a large assortment of frozen foods. We have food great for herbivores, omnivores, carnivores, small-mouth eaters, and large-mouth eaters. For the really finicky or picky eaters, we carry a few different vitamin and lipid supplements to make sure that all your fish are as healthy as possible. The best way to expand your fish's lunch menu is to either pick up at least five different types of food, or try one of our frozen variety packs. Are your fish and invertebrates getting the diet they deserve?

Thanks for reading our weekly newsletter, hope to see you this weekend!
