Anybody local to stafford that is very good at resealing tanks? Just need front pane resealed but want to make sure it's done right. I just did it yesterday but I'm not to confident on my work for the first time.

Did you remove/ replace the pane or just redo the corner bead? The corner bead is primarily to protect the bead between the panes and for aesthetics.

Just the corner beads on both front sides and the bottom front going across the front of tank.

The biggest thing is making sure it has a good bond...so if you used a remover after you scraped all of the old off and the glass was very clean you should be good to go! You can tell where the bond missed when you test fill and see the bubbles under it...then its a matter of doing it again...(I really love the bathroom caulking wedges...makes life easier)

Thanks, I'm going to try it again with the bathroom thing, had one but lost it so getting another one. Just wish the HE silicone 1 was in black

Plastic Thing, Or a piece of plastic over your finger will even do... sometimes more controllable. Rubbing Alcohol type to clean the Glass, so it dries, then just wipe with a Clean,Dry  Cotton cloth, and your good to go...If possible, Install in such a way so Gravity is pulling the Silicone down into the crack, to bond the pieces together...   Let us know how it went

Well I took off the seal I did yesterday and cleaned it really good and then prepped with alcohol, then cleaned again and resealed. I like the job I did so I will see how good of a job when I water test on Tuesday .

 Hot darn, Look at that, sounds like a Pro right there. lol Sounds like you did it. lol  Congrats, Let's see that beautiful Pic. of that Pretty Tank holding water.
