Demeat50 February 11, 2013 Share February 11, 2013 Would using Instant Ocean Reef Crystals cause a spike in my calcium? Was using the normal version before. Have been dosing calcium and alkalinity but were only raising my Ca by about 5-10 pts a week. Then went from 395 to 440 after a 10% water change with the Reef Crystals. zygote2k February 11, 2013 Share February 11, 2013 I/O mixes to about 400ppm Ca and R/C mixes to about 430ppm Ca. Your last w/c was with a mixture of I/O and R/C- not all R/C.
