BRS Dual Reactor

Anybody have one? What pump are you running it with?

 

The reviews for the MJ1200 BRS recommends are mixed. Some say there's not enough flow and end up going with a mag 3.

 

Any thoughts?

I'm running one with the MJ - it works fine. The only problem I had was I didn't clean the top and bottom plugs that hold the media. They have little slots cut in them to let the flow through. Eventually these clogged. I just rinsed them in hot water and scrubbed 'em quick with a toothbrush and all was well again.

I use MJ1200, it works well but I have to dial it down.

I use a mag 3 but split mine apart, plumbed them using Y fittings with individual ball valves, back to another Y and then into the sump. Much better control that way, and only cost ~$20 extra.

I have one with a MJ1200 dialed down on it as well. Works great.
