mosheikh September 19, 2005 September 19, 2005 I went to Roozens yesterday, and I would have to say that they have a very nice selection of fish and coral. I bought five fish at a reasonable price. 1 Potters Angel, 1 Bluefaced Angel, 2 Female Anthias, and 1 Male Anthias. All of them are very healthy, and are getting along with my Hippo Tang, True Perc, and Manderin Goby. I hope to go there again once they get some Neon Gobies in.
davelin315 September 19, 2005 September 19, 2005 OUCH! Watch out for the overcrowding in that tank. Anthias are very difficult to take care of as they basically forage for plankton all day long. In a 72, you'll have a very limited food supply, especially with all the competition. Also, the blue face is a full sized angel, so watch out for deteriorating health as it grows and tries to thrive in your system. I think you especially need to watch out for a tank crash as you said before that your 72 was not working well for your corals and you have moved so much in and out of it. The fish you are adding are an incredibly large bio-load.
mosheikh September 19, 2005 Author September 19, 2005 Thanks for your advice. My anthias all eat Cyclopleeze, and so does all my other fish. The blueface is not a full sized angel. It is a juvenile angel. I am sure that my skimmer can handle all my fish. My corals died because of the bulbs. I found a coral that fell in a cave, and its perfectly fine, but all my other corals started bleaching that were in the light. So, I just ordered new 150w 15k XM bulbs.
OUsnakebyte September 19, 2005 September 19, 2005 Another problem I see is adding that many (sensitive) fish at once. You can easily shock your system with that big of a change in bioload. Keep an eye on your parameters for the next week or two.
Guest jamjam_77 September 19, 2005 September 19, 2005 Do they have anything left? Sounds like you bought everything
mosheikh September 19, 2005 Author September 19, 2005 They do have more Blue face Angels, but I am not sure if they have any Juvenile ones though. They get shipments in everyday, so call them and ask what you want. They have many fishes. www.roozens.com
