A selection of over 500 coral colonies and frags are currently available. Newest in stock is a really cool Maze Brain, a bright Orange-rimmed Fungia, large and small Wellsophyllias, intensely green Pipe Organs, larger Green Finger Leathers, cultured Acropora colonies, awesome Rhodactus Mushroom colonies, Green Devils Hand Leathers, insane Orange Zoanthids, and plenty more. We've also fragged up a few larger colonies of Chalice, Montipora, Favia & Maze Brains, Zoanthids, Acropora and other SPS. Ultra Maxima and Crocea Clams arrived this week and are gorgeous! Also available are Flame Scallops, Electric Blue Knuckle and Halloween Hermit Crabs, Pom Pom / Boxing Crabs, Mini-Maxi Anemones hosting Sexy Anemone Shrimp, a couple Pink Coco Worms, Blue Globe Urchins, Serpent Starfish, Tiger Pistol Shrimp paired up with Shrimp Gobies, a mated pair of Coral Banded Shrimp, Arrow Crabs, a Rose Anemone, Purple Long Tentacle Anemone, captive and wild Green Bubble Tip Anemones, and a huge variety of Hermit Crabs and Snails!

 

An ORA shipment arrived this week containing a bunch of new Clownfish, Gobies, Dottybacks and coral frags. ORA (Oceans, Reefs & Aquariums) is a captive breeding facility located in Florida "bringing you the finest captive bred specimens to environmentally conscientious aquarist throughout the world". Did You Know?

 

Did you know that most fish foods do not have sufficient amounts of vitamins and minerals? Dry, frozen and even some live foods loose most of their vitamins and minerals thru the packaging process. We carry a variety of food additives to replenish your foods with the vitamins and minerals needed to keep your aquarium fishes healthy and happy. Garlic Power, Zoe, Zoecon, Selcon, AminOmega, Vita-Chem, and Vitamarine-C are a few of the food additives we keep on our shelves. Supplementing your fishes foods with a combination of these additives will help keep them healthy and prevent parasites such as marine Ich. For those of you with Tangs, feeding them with various types of seaweed soaked in vitamin supplements such as the Zoe, Zoecon and Garlic Power should help keep them healthy and gradually bring back its color if it has dulled out. Tangs are extremely susceptible to a condition called Lateral Line Disease and after extended periods of time in captivity their color begins to fade and they may develop a pale line extending from their eyes to their tail. The jury is still out on why exactly this occurs yet we do know that it is nutrition and tank size related. Make sure all your fishies are getting a good nutrition based diet by adding these vitamins and minerals to your feeding regiment. Don't forget many of these food additives are on sale this weekend!
