yagerboy May 9, 2012 Share May 9, 2012 I am astarting to get a few clumps of Hair Algae in my tank. Also have had bubble algae spreading since receiving a frag with it. Have been manually removing bubble algea but some places are hard to reach. I am asking for suggestions on fish/inverts that will offer the highest chance of success in removing both H/A and B/A? Tank is 90g RR w/ 30 sump/fuge. LPS/SPS/Shrooms with Sand Sifting goby, citron goby, small Spiny Box Fish. Thanks for your suggestions.

Saltwaterworx May 9, 2012 Share May 9, 2012 (edited) For the HA: lawnmower blenny or sea hare. Customers have told me about their foxfaces and Cortez hermits. For the BA: emerald crabs If possible, a strong bristle brush and a little time Can help out. Depending on how you're setup. Ryan S May 9, 2012 Share May 9, 2012 sea hare works wonders on HA. www.reefcleaners.org recommends emerald crabs for BA and they state: "Our crabs are guaranteed to eat bubble algae or we will refund the cost to you."
