I have hardware up, and water flowing, but so far - nothing else.So I've read many places about using 1-2 pounds live rock and 1 pound live sand per gallon. It is a thumb rule (and a somewhat antiquated one at that), go with enough to get the look you want and unless you are going for a wide-open bare botoom tank, you will be fine. I usually apply measurements to my entire volume of water or system capacity as opposed to just what I have in the Display Tank. Hope that helps!
