.OptimusPrime. February 22, 2012 February 22, 2012 The canopy that came with my stand is a very very tight and snug fit when it goes over the top of my Tek fixture. It makes it extreme difficult anytime I want to do something over the top of the tank I have to take the canopy completely off, like feeding. I'm sure most people here have experience DIY their own stands and what not so I thought I would ask. I want to be able leave canopy in place 99.9% of the time and only remove it completely if I need to change out bulbs. Is there anyway to cut off just the entire front section and adhere magnets? or some kind of clip/hinge that would allow me to just remove the front panel? I want the front panel to either open towards me kinda like french doors (probably would have to cut the front into two sections). Or have it flip up?? Is it possible to do with the way the my canopy is put together?? Or am I just better of building a new canopy that does what I need it to do. See images below: Front: Top Inside Corner: Inside Corner: Corner Outside: Thanks in advance
RubberFrog February 22, 2012 February 22, 2012 I could probably figure something out for you if you want to bring it over on Saturday or Sunday.
RubberFrog February 22, 2012 February 22, 2012 If you would rather just build a new canopy, we could do that too.
