We are HIRING! Looking for a fun and educational part-time job or full-time job?

Part Time Retail Sales & Store Service Technician position available! This position will assist in all necessary tasks in our retail store including customer service and sales, in-store aquarium maintenance, livestock care and inventory control. Must have experience with keeping saltwater aquaria. Dependability, self motivated, and the ability to learn quickly is a must. Retail sales experience helpful but not a prerequisite. A clean driving and criminal record required. Looking for help during the week and on Saturdays. Please email resume or work history to staff@marinescene.com or bring it by the store.

 

TMS will be closing early next Wednesday, November 23 at 6:00 PM and will be CLOSED Thursday, November 24 in recognition of Thanksgiving Day. We will be open for business regular hours starting back on Friday the 25th...with some great sales!

Did You Know?

 

Did you know that it is not safe to clean the outside of your aquarium with Windex or any other chemical based product? A common mistake made by beginners. Windex is full of ammonia and as you know ammonia is the last thing we need in our tanks! One of the best ways to clean the exterior glass or acrylic with is just plain old water. Squeegees are helpful in this endeavor. There are also great cleaner polishes that work great and all you need is just a dry soft cloth to help buff the polish. It takes a couple minutes and your aquarium is spot and streak free. Check out the Coralife Acrylic Buffer Polishes and Glass Cleaner Polishes we have available, both of which are on sale!
