Davy Jones Locker

Gentlemen-

I just got a Davy Jones locker and the only thing I'm unsure about is whether I need to glue the pressure switch into the lid. It slides in very easily but that would probably make it slide out fairly easily as well. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Steve,

 

No, do not glue it in! It slides out in order to make emptying the locker quick & easy. Similarly, the barb fitting for the skimmer cup drain has a nut underneath the lid, I recommend taking it off so the fitting can be easily pulled out without having to disconnect soft tubing. Then you can pull out both tubes, carry outside and dump.
