How to Join

I'd like to join as a member, but the link to do it by paypal doesn't seem to work.

 

Can someone give me the right link or information for how to sign up?

If you go to this page http://www.wamas.org/join.php and scroll to the bottom to choose 'Join Now' that should work for you.

Thanks, that at least got me to the page. It isn't working though. It is telling me I have to enter an address, zip code, etc to advance to payment, but it doesn't have any fields for that.

BTW, I was trying to follow the link on this page http://www.wamas.org/about.php. That one is broken, I see the giant join now button at the top now, so I'm good there.

I think I know where the problem is. We didn't account for this use case We now require address, phone number, etc. when you register. So they're required fields that are being validated, but you don't have them filled in.

 

Go to the top of the page where your display name appears. Click the arrow to the right of your name. Choose 'My Profile' from the dropdown. Once you're on that page, look to the right and you'll find an 'Edit My Profile' button. Click on this button and scroll about halfway down the screen and you'll find a shaded section for 'Required Information' - this is where your address, phone number, etc. is. Please fill in your information here and then try and go back through the joining process.

 

I am very sorry that it is so cumbersome. We are working on updating the user experience, especially as it relates to new members joining. This will definitely be fed back into that process for future improvements. Please let me know if you have any more problems, and WELCOME TO WAMAS!

You caught me ... software development program manager, former software engineer. Glancing over your address info, be sure that it reflects where you want your membership card to be sent.
