Noisy lights

I just installed a new Nova Extreme Pro onto my Biocube 29g. It seems to be noiser than I expected. The fans are quiet, but there seems to be noise coming from wither vibrations or from light ballasts. Anyone have a similar issue, or have suggestions on another light that the know is quiet?

Does it have a magnetic or electronic ballast?

Great question, I guess i need to find out.

 

Also, today is the first day the new lights are running and I seem to have a large amount of micro-bubbles building up (never had before). Whats going on?
