What's New

We have a semi-used aquarium set up for sale, which you will likely see in an upcoming film series. The setup includes an Oceanic 150 gallon Ultimate Series Reef Ready aquarium, matching stand and canopy which have been painted white (actually looks pretty nice). The stand also has IceCap fans on either end of it and a false back mirroring the front cabinet doors. The canopy also has a cooling fan on one end and the vent on the other. Accessories include an ADHI fuge/sump, ASM G3 Skimmer, a Snapper Reeflo Pump, the overflow accessory kits, and miscellaneous plumbing. Pretty much the works to get the tank home and running the same day. Also included is a 50 GPD Barracuda RO/DI unit which was brand new and only used to fill the aquarium and maintain top-off. We are not selling the lighting fixture as the buyer can decide what kind of lighting they want. So all in all, the setup if sold new would have cost $4900 and we are selling if for only $2500.

Lots of new fish arrived this week including a small female Bellus Angel, Flame Angels, a juvenile Emperor Angel, Lyretail Anthias, Chalk Bass, Bicolor Blennies, Lawnmower Blennies, Starry Blennies, Scooter Dragonets, Mandarin Dragonets, Yellowtail Damsels, a small Blue Velvet Damsel, Cave Gobies, Yellow Clown Gobies, Engineer Gobies, Yellow Watchman Gobies, Green Banded Gobies, Trimma Gobies, a Randall's Shrimp Goby, tiny Red Head Gobies, Yashia Gobies, Flame Hawkfish, Candy Hogs, a Volitan Lionfish, Purple Tangs, Sailfin Tangs, Scopas Tangs, Kole Tangs, a smaller male Blue Jaw Trigger, Six Line Wrasse and many more! Firefish are finally back in stock! We've had many of you asking about these popular fish so come on in! We should be getting them on a regular schedule again as well so if we sell out, no worries, we should be getting more in next week! Another beautiful female Bellus Angel arrived this week. This is a completely reef safe angel and won't bother clams either! Anyone looking for a nice show-quality fish for your reef, this angel a good choice! Midas Blennies are also back in stock. Another very popular fish which is a great addition to a community tank, these fish are comical to watch as they reverse themselves in a hole within your rockwork. Their bright blue eyes are also a very catchy feature. We received a couple really interesting rocks with a type of macroalgae called Codium intertextum. It is a beautiful dark green with a blue hue. It is firm yet spongy, slick and smooth. It forms creeping mats along the rockwork. It is a very neat macroalgae for anyone who likes those oddities. Check out the picture on our photos link below.

Did You Know?

Do you know the difference between Brine and Mysis shrimps? Fish love both of them but only one of them has real nutritional value. Brine shrimp are basically just exoskeleton that must taste good but it isn't doing much for the health of your fish. Mysis shrimp are much better for the fish over all and they seem to love it. Be careful when feeding Brine, fish will actually become spoiled on it and begin refusing all other foods. If you have this problem already there are vitamin additives I would recommend adding to the Brine shrimp to increase its nutritional value. Even many picky eaters will accept Mysis so consider making the switch. Don't forget, this weekend our frozen P.E. Mysis shrimp will be on sale.
