Had a chance to put some finish on the solid wood versions of the faceplates this weekend.

 

 

 

Here is the detail pics showing how the controller actually mounts to the wall.

 

If you notice in the above picture, the back of the controller has 4 screws. Remove all four of those and place the new plastic backplate that is included with the kit on the back. Use the new longer screws that have been provided to firmly attach this backplate:
