i am looking for Crocea Clam in this area

yeah , i want to buy them..locally..

but nobody seems to have this clam.....any lfs in washington metro area? thanks guys..

i don't want to buy it on line..

The 2 places left in the area that have clams in stock are The Reef Tank and Exotic Aquatics (I think) on any regular basis.  Not sure if Roozen's gets clams in or not.  Dr. Mac might be another option, though no news yet on how his retail shop is coming along.

i checked reefstore but they only have maximas and sequamosa..don't know about exotic Aquatics ..

I checked with roozens..and don't know when they will have..

maybe some local reefers wants to sell their clams..:) anyone?

I haven't seen any clams for sale at exotic aquatics in about a year.

 

Buying clams online right now, even the so called aquacultured ORA clams is a huge gamble with the clam disease going around. Almost everyone I know that has them or want them has stopped buying them for months because of this reason.

 

I would try to buy from a hobbiest that has had them for months without any new clam additions for the last year at least. They are hard to find around here for most people that have them either keep them or they die on them. Hardly ever see them for sale.

i called exotic aquatics yesterday..

i don't have it ....only few sequamosa..

 

so anyone want to sell your crocea???????
