blaze98 April 20, 2009 Share April 20, 2009 Chris mentioned them to me this weekend, but I was wondering if anyone is using the 22000k bulb and if you know how does it compare to the ATI blue plus.
Gadgets April 20, 2009 Share April 20, 2009 They are MUCH better. Same blue look with much more actinic pop.
blaze98 April 20, 2009 Author Share April 20, 2009 I decided to look them up after you mentioned them at the seminar. I am interested in seeing these in person if anyone has some set up. I ran 2 ATI blue plus before so I know how the color looks on those, I am trying to compare to see if they are worth the cost difference.

sam75 April 21, 2009 Share April 21, 2009 Very interesting read. I was a little surprised how strongly they recommend changing bulbs after only 9 months, but I guess if you are going for maximum color... I wonder if this was caused in part by the drop in par or if it was solely from the loss of spectrum. It would be interesting to see if reflectors would have made a difference (maintained better color for longer)? At any rate I applaud their efforts. It's so rare you actually see an apples to apple comparison in this hobby. Found a very interesting article....Article and Growth pics
