Guest August 19, 2003 August 19, 2003 Does anyone know where I can find 4' GE ultra daylight bulbs. I need to start changing some and was told Home Depot had them but they don't even sell GE bulbs. Thanks
michaelg August 19, 2003 August 19, 2003 I have found them there in the past. I have used their plant and aquarium bulbs for my refugiums as well. There is also a nice daylight bulb that comes in an orange package, sylvania maybe? I think some of the online places carry them if you can't find them local, and there wasn't much markup on the price as I recall.
krish August 20, 2003 August 20, 2003 Home depot does carry the phillips 6500K tubes. These are the 4ft long ones and the color is pretty good. I have 2 on my 120G and it is pleasing and the coralline is growing well. It is a 2 pack for under 6 bucks. krish
Aquariareview September 1, 2003 September 1, 2003 I have bought them at the Woodbridge Wal-mart. I usedthem on my sump and they worked well. (I have since gone to PC system for sump.) If you push them with a ice cap ballast they put out VHO levels and last a very long time. Article on Ice cap web site I have done this on a 70gal reef and it worked well.
