Guest Kimo April 21, 2003 April 21, 2003 How do you guys think a square kalk reactor would work? It seems like it would be easier to build, and would take up less space than an equally sized tubular one. the only problem I see is getting kalk paste stuck in the corners and edges. There is even a pic of one in Eric B.'s Aquarium Corals book, although it's an old pic. What do you all think? Jamie
pez April 21, 2003 April 21, 2003 Jamie, I suppose a square reactor would work equally as well, except for the problems you mentioned. However, large diameter tube is easy to come by, so making a round unit would be easier than a square one in my opinion. You can use PVC or Acrylic, but the latter would be more difficult to find locally. -Tom
