michaelg January 21, 2003 Share January 21, 2003 One huge thing to note on the design of this reactor- the water goes in the bottom and out the top on the circulation loop. I have a real old commercial unit that was made this way, and designed my own to opperate this way. There is far better contact of the media with the water. I can see grains bouncing around the inside. I have photos that I can e-mail if anyone wants to see them to aid in building their own.. Guest snapper January 21, 2003 Share January 21, 2003 Michael, I'd love to see your construction photos. In order to save bandwidth, just post the tricky parts if you wish. I'm going to build my own very soon. Any comment you can add on how to tune this design, etc... would be very helpful. Please include how you control inlet CO2 flow rate, inlet water flow rate and control pH/Alk of the effluent. Thanks a lot, Snapper
