mosheikh September 29, 2008 Share September 29, 2008 I purchased a Nikon D40 w/ 18-55mm lens. I'm bascially going to use this camera for family gatherings, weddings, and sometimes wildlife. Later on, I may get back into the hobby, and will use this camera to take marine photography as well. Max I want to spend is $300 for a new lens. Any lens worth reccomending? ctenophore September 30, 2008 Share September 30, 2008 I've gotten pretty good shots with the 55-200 with image stabilization. Should be around $250.
