Mark Quigley July 4, 2008 July 4, 2008 Hello. I have some fans installed in the hood of my aquarium since I'm too cheap/poor to shell out for a heater. Does anyone know where I might buy a thermostat that measures the temperature of the water and then turns on? I'm not really concerned with the air temperature above the tank, but rather than have the somewhat noisy fans running all the time or on a timer, I'd rather have them kick in when the water temperature reaches a certain level. Thanks! Mark
dcreefer July 4, 2008 July 4, 2008 Honestly the best way is to buy a controller: Lighthouse controller BAsic In searching the net I saw a bunch of inexpensive temp controllers that you were looking for but they all were 220. Hmmm, I'll keep a look out and if I see anything I will post it here!
