As part of trying to create more services for the membership the officers have worked with me to create a new web site. I want to thank them for all of the effort and time they have spent and input they have given to make this site possible. to use all of the features of the new site you will need to clear the old cookies (from the old site) from your site. Goto the top of your browser and click on Tools> Internet Options> clear cookies. If you are in netscape or any other browser the options are almost the same. The new site has been created to give the WAMAS a gateway to the reef resources all over the world wide web. You can contribute by sending in any online site that you find so we can grow the database of sites. The World Wide Web is a rich library of reef keeping information. The single healthiest thing a hobbyist can do is equip themselves with as much information from as broad a spectrum of sources as possible. On this site you will find hundreds of information sites on the web. Thing that are new on this site. • Up to date Reef News on the front page • ABOUT US page with links to Bylaws, Mission Statement, Officer info and minutes of the officers meetings and finance of the group, • MEETINGS page with history of the groups meetings and information on future meetings. • LINKS section with hundreds of links to Do It Yourself pages, Articles, and every Supplier of reef supplies and livestock we can find • MEMBERS WEB SITES page. This is a list of all of the sites of the members, We have a few. If you have a site and are not listed let us know. • AMAZON READING LIST on the front page. This is a list put together by Michael and some of the officers. You can buy books at a discount and WAMAS gets a small commission to help us pay for the meetings. • CHAT ROOM a place to meet and talk in real-time • More coming soon If any member wants to have a free web site contact me and I will show you how.
