The film about these fishes are pretty fascinating as these fishes live deep in the ocean. Rich spent his entirely life studying the billfish and finally the first filmaker able to make a documentary film on these mystical creatures. bprinehart May 7, 2008 Share May 7, 2008 While we were in Costa Rica, many of the juvenile billfish hang out close to the beaches, and the copious amounts of feed for them made it inevitable that you would be swimming amongst them. From what I understand due to the excellent fisheries management there, CR is one of if not the top billfish sites in the world.
