MOT November 16, 2007 Share November 16, 2007 Does anyone have any experience breeding fish? I have done a good amount of research and primarily concerned with the fry feeding aspect... seemingly the hardest part. Anyone have any methods for culturing rotifiers and collecting them for feeding? I am contemplating breeding clowns in a 120g tank... that is why. Traveller7 I am looking at you... loved your TOTM thanks, Tom
wreck November 16, 2007 Share November 16, 2007 I got a starter kit from www.rotifer.com, good information on culturing there also. I used a 5 gallon bucket to culture rotifers for my Tomato clown larvae and also cultured "green water" to feed the rotifers. I would offer you some rotifers but my culture seems to have crashed, I'm trying to bring it back now. all you'll need is some starter rotifers, some green water, and a coffee filter or fine micron mesh. Maybe someone here can set you up when you're ready. Are your clownfish laying eggs? Wreck
