Looking for help moving a tank

Recommended Posts

I have finally finshed my stand for my tank and now need help moving the tank inside the house.

The tank is 60Lx30Wx25H made of glass with a water capacity of 195 gallons. Needles to say it's heavy!!! I am hoping to get 6 helpers help move it about 10 feet from the garage into the basement.

Move time is 10am on Sunday. If your available to help out that would be greatly appreciated!!

I am located in Haymarket VA on Bull Run Mountain.

PM me and I will give you exact directions to those of you who can help out.

Thanks a million

I should be able to make it; but I'll have to wait to let you know about Saturday morning.

Because of the lack in interest in helping the move this weekend I will have to put it off.

Thanks goes out to the two people who said they would come...

reland how far is that from where my move is. If it isn't far maybe we can pool our resources and people willing to help and do a double move. My work schedule is a bit weird but we should be able to work it out.

BAD weekend............. I was drilling the last couple holes for the closed loop system on my tank and then went to get the water out and .... We broke the euro brace for the tank... Now I have to buy another tank which is going to take 4-6 weeks... Booo......

NOPE...... it wouldn't trust it... Knowing my luck I would come down to the basement with 200 gallons of water on the carpet.....

So... I ordered another one yesterday....

OH NO IT'S NOT FIXABLE....... ESPECIALLY NOW... WE TOOK IT OUT BACK AND PUT IT IN A DUMPSTER. THE TANK WOULDN'T FIT IN THE DUMPSTER SO THE FORK LIFT HELPED IT A LITTLE. (LOTS OF PIECES)

ANYWAYS.. THE NEW TANK HAS BEEN ORDERD AND WILL HAVE STARPHIRE GLASS IN THE FRONT.... CAN'T WAIT.. PROBABLY 2 MONTHS FROM NOW....
