Jager May 8, 2007 Share May 8, 2007 so mag 9.5 tripped my gfci, didnt know which item had tripped it, at the time, so i turned the gfci back on and the pump made a terrible noise i cut it off real fast then it let out a big mess of smoke out under water. i immediately yanked it outa the tank and i do believe its toast. it snapped the impeller shaft thtat was ceramic, but the impeller still moved freely in the pump, so not sure why it died. however i am now in the market for serious 900gph pressure pumps. if its a bit lower or higher thats fine as well, but around that GPH. I need it ASAP and i will pay the shipping cost to ups it down here. Thanks in advance.
