UNS 120U Reef Garden- 140 gallons total

So in the store we decided to go with UNS for the choice of aquarium and drilled it, relight before they launched their reef aquariums lol. The tank is roughly 48x24x24 and holds 115 gallons. We chose this company because of their low iron glass, 91% iron free, metered 45 degree edges, and the modern rimless look. To avoid the bulky overflows we used custom aquariums h2o overflows to give a sleek, low profile look that can handle 1200 GPH each. For the returns we used custom aquariums siphon stopper loc line returns. This allows our loc line to be low in the tank and not worry about back siphoning.

 

When it came to lighting, salt, and trace elements we went full Australian. We wanted to show better options for lights besides AI and Ecotech so we use 2 Dalua X4 with their vitaminiis bars, their version XHO LED, to create higher PAR and more directional spread of light for our acros and other SPS. When it came to salt and trace elements, we went with Quantum USAs line up and have 0 complaints and found it to be very similar with little difference in results compared to moonshiners. Other than that we dose Kalk as well.

 

The tank will be 3 months old in a week and here is a cool top down look of the corals/ aquarium not that it is fully stocked. We will include more pictures of the aquarium, lights, products, etc in the coming days for those who haven’t been by yet.
