reeferindc December 21, 2023 Share December 21, 2023 Recently my clownfish(female) seems to have become more aggressive toward my trio of chromis and yellow watchman. The clownfish was peaceful and now all of a sudden she is terrorizing them. The yellow watchman never comes near her side of the tank or near her nem. she swims over near his burrow under the rocks near the back of the tank and steals his food and swipes her tail at him. I do feed heavy frozen and nori. In the tank I have a pair a clowns, trio of chromis, blue hippo , foxface, 1 blue eyed cardinal and yellow watchman all in a 90 gallon and none bigger than 3". She has also been cleaning like crazy. Does this mean she is preparing to lay eggs and want them out of the tank?
Squishie89 December 23, 2023 Share December 23, 2023 The cleaning and being more defensive/aggressive sounds to me like a broody lady.
