Moving Aquarium

Good Evening,

Does anyone have any recommendations for a company that can move an aquarium to a new residence? It is 6ft long and about 500lbs.

You can try an LFS, but usually they and moving companies won’t touch aquariums (based on my personal experience and what I’ve seen elsewhere). LFS will often help if you order the tank through them.

Your best bet is a bunch of friends (and/or WAMAS folks), suction cups (WAMAS has available for rental) and some dollies.

When are you trying to move it and to where? We could try and get a coalition up of WAMAS folks. 

 

Recommend getting some good glass grips though (I think the club has a set to borrow but am not sure on their status)

Appreciate it very much. My buddy was able to find a moving company that would take it on.
