  1. Thanks for the reply Coral Hind.Do you think I can reduce aggression if I rearrange the rockwork when introducing the clowns(Like introducing tangs) Or does it really not matter?

  2. Is it possible to keep percs. and ocell.clowns together or maybe percs and clarks? I have a total water volume of 30 gallons have a perc clown ,don't want to get rid of but want to add another clown.Don't want to add the same. The new fish would be smaller.I had another clown that disappeared it was a Petco picasso?

  3. Will BTA be ok in a tank with a bare bottom?I removed my sand and put it all in my sump. I have a 20 long with a 10 gallon sump.Only housing a pair of percs.I removed the sand this past weekend after my overflow stopped working and I came across a drilled tank. After moving everthing over I realized that nems may require sand to put there foot in.I do have alot of rockwork would this be OK?

  4. dmward99 - Did you get your BTA yet?

Chewie - I will do that next time!

No, not yet, I was just really throwing out the question to hear responses.I am planning on getting a BTA in the very near future but not just yet.I am thinking toward the end of this month early December. This is just part of my research process.I am thankful to all that replied. .

  5. My tank has been up since June. Nothing in it really but a pair of clowns and a clean-up crew.I have never kept a reef only fish with live rock, maybe a few zoa, mushrooms, hammer, Xenia, and GSP from time to time. Its a 20 long with a 10 gallon sump, lights are 4X CF bulbs.2X55 and 2X65.Water is fine. Can I pull it off?

  6. You should be able to clean both tanks with water and a little distilled vinegar mixture.I would say 2 teaspoon of vinegar per cup of water.Thats what I usually do and haven't had any problems.(Although you maybe able to use more vinegar maybe someone else can chime in.)

  7. How much liverock you got in there? Why don't you try some base rock(dry or dead rock) ? Since you already have some liverock it will seed the baserock within a couple of months it will become live and for half the cost.Plus you won't have to worry about your tank adjusting again. As you would with putting in new liverock.
