Hello all Thank you all for letting us join the group with so many questions for listening ears, let me start by introducing myself Deone and April here ,married with children recent empty-nesters so we decided to go ahead and get our tank started so far so good with what I’m sure will be a roller coaster of a ride with plenty of ups and downs looking forward to them all. Tank 210 oceanic ( relic I know) Reef octopus 250sss skimmer reef octopus various 8 return pump trigger systems triton44v2 sump jeabo cross flow 150 wave makers (gyro)x2 jeabo power heads ow50 x2 synergy 16 v2 overflow ai hydra 32 x5 ai fuge light apex el apex trident aquamax t2 calcium reactor kamoer pump inkbird heater controller BRS 5stage rodi co2 scrubber (BRS) tunze osmalater ato We added water on june 1st. We are now in a green algae phase (looks kinda hard and doesn’t just scrub off) . We have not had hair algae yet. But have had what I think to be diatoms. I do have a few questions . dkh 9.5to 97 cal 405-416 mag 1390-1416 ph 8.1-8.3 salinity 1.024 nitrate - 5.0 - .5 phos .06- .11 We are currently not running a kalk stirrer.should I set this up. I have never added any chemicals to tank. should I do roaphos or however it is spelled. cheato seems to grow well . should I do reef moonshine. mainly just thinking about the kalkwasser, to keep ph closer to 8.4.

Hello all Thanks for having me. We are new to the hobby, as i have wanted a tank for almost 20 years , we just recently decided to get in on all this beauty. We are looking for some advice and general some one to help with the tank. I can do some DIY things , but only now what i have researched on the internet, a few books, and talking to everyone that would give me the time of day. This is our first fish tank so be gentle. Tank is Classic oceanic 210 We have a few fish and coral. Thanks in advance for looking .
