I don't know about a maintenance agreement. The company has been servicing/maintaining my tank since they set it up. They come and do weekly maintenance however it's usually when I'm at work so I have no opportunity to watch and learn from them...I have corals, fish and inverts. My goal is to maintain what I have, which, to me, includes adding new livestock, etc.

I am a new member and a newbie in the topic. Please don't hate me - but I had a great company set-up and maintain my 220 gallon tank. I've had it for about 8 years and it's now a necessity for me to either learn how to take care of it or (God forbid) get rid of it... I decided on a reef tank as a memorial to my husband of 30 years. He drown in a scuba accident while we were diving in the Honduras. I wanted to recreate the underworld magic we were seeing... Now I need to learn to care for my established tank. Here's a brief overview of what I have: 220 gallon Saltwater aquarium 3 Radion XR30 lights 2 Vortech MP40 pumps Stand canopy Filtration system including skimmer and refugium return pump and more RO/DI filter Assorted livestock (fish, coral, inverts) I am reading books that have been suggested on this site, but think I may need lots more help! any suggestions?
