Still at 2.

So the momma Jawbreaker has started to show red. Babies are growing. It's taken several months for the Jawbreaker to get some red. No real size change. I wonder if lighting change and feeding was the driver.

So on vacation, I could only get 2x a day feedings. Down to 2.

So with my added feedings and altered light schedule. These nightmares are doing amazing! Some of you have asked for frags. So I'll frag them in a couple of weeks...when they max out the frag they are on.

And then there were 4. :(

And then there were 5.
I think the issue is feedings. I have reduced from 4-6 feedings a day to 2-3 for the last couple of weeks to better fit my schedule.

Yep. Figured it might be a slow decline with these fish. But I wanted to see how they would fare.

I am having what appears to the a bacterial bloom in my tank. I used to get these went I was dosing carbon (vinegar).
I have switched to a much heavier feeding regime.
Based on the response of my tank, prior to the bloom, I was clearly under feeding my tank. Everything is growing like crazy and seems super happy.
Feed mix is: large pinch of Panta Nouri Polyps soaked in 4-5 drops of Selcon, 3/4in square portion of LRS Reef Frenzy Nano, 1 cube Hikari Spirulina Brine Shrimp, 3/4in square portion of Nutramar Ova, and 1/2in square portion ofRod's Fish eggs. All mix together in about 6oz of saltwater. 3-4 oz go to my DT over 2 days.
Am I right to think this is the cause? Or should I investigate further?

Tried pro mode with color temp adjustment. It's not nearly as good.

This is the Galaxy S8+, but should work on any android phone with RAW picture capture and a post processing software that allows for custom white balance. The key is having a white object like sand to set the custom white balance on.
Should also be able to do this with any camera with raw picture camera and post processing software.
Apparently advance cameras have this feature built in...using a white object under the currently lighting to set the white balance and then snapping the picture.

Accurate white and actinic representations!
Raw images from Samsung Galaxy with custom white balance using Google Snapseed app.

Nightmare Zoa looks like the hands-down winner.

Got these several months ago from someone who didn't know what they were called. Just that they were high end. Any ideas? I finally got them colored up and growing.

Add they are gone...Looks like another clutch of eggs...funny to watch him eat. Basically, he spits out the eggs and requires them while taking in food.

No. Saltwater...they just are small and like freshwater neons.

Just curious on the final outcome of your outbreak. What survived?

These are small fish similar to fresh water neons. I really have no clue on how to successfully raise any fry. Last batch disappeared after a day or two.Are the red cardinals similar to the regular black and white? I have seen miss saltwatertank and her troubles raising her cardinal eggs.
