  1. I don't think you can program it though the Controller. You need to do it through Apex Fusion. On the Outlet the pump is plugged into, you need to change it to advanced control type and then use code similar to:

    Fallback OFF
    Set OFF
    If SW1 CLOSED Then ON

  2. I hate how R2R is so commercialized and sponsor-oriented (the flashing ads/banners are tiresome), but I still spend time there. These days, however, I find myself spending more time over at Humblefish.  I haven't been on RC for years.

  3. I really like my DD jumpguard, but I never used the RedSea so cannot compare. I don't have any cutouts and am using it on a IM Nuvo 20. I like how the tabs are on the corners and it sits slightly recessed into the tank which I find more sleek than the RedSea.

  4. Is Paul no longer the owner? It seems like it is now Jared Bawa. Their newsletters used to have Paul's name at the bottom, but that stopped back in June, and now it has Jared's name at the bottom. Also haven't seen Paul on any of their facebook posts/videos for a while.

  5. You could test to see how long it takes to pump from when it is full to before it runs dry. Then set your programming to only run the pump for that duration when it is full. It won't be exact since the water/skimmate mixture will vary, but will be good enough to drain most of it and not run your pump dry.

  6. Great price! With coupon, it works out to like $32 for a 200 gallon box. Best price I've seen in a while.

Uggh. I already have enough salt to last me for 2 years though.... Running out of room in the garage...

    ...MUST RESIST....

  7. I haven't been in a while, as it is a but further north, but CTE Aquatics is usually pretty good.

House of tropicals probably has the largest variety of fish in the whole DMV area, but quality can be hit or miss. Corals aren't that great.
